This referral offer (this "Offer") by Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC ("Fidelity") is subject to the terms and conditions below and is available to qualifying Fidelity Youth™ Account customers ("Referrer") who refer prospective customers who open and activate a Fidelity Youth™ Account and enter the unique code via Fidelity Youth app as described below ("Referee").
Referrer qualifies for this Offer when Referee completes the following steps:
- Opens and activates a new, Fidelity Youth Account on or after 08/29/2023.
- Note:
- Parent or guardian of the Referee must initiate the application process and once completed, the teen will receive instructions on how to activate their account.
- Parents or guardian of the Referee must have their own Fidelity brokerage account to start the account opening process.
- Downloads and logs in to the Fidelity Youth app, using Fidelity credentials; and
- Enters the Referrer's unique referral code in the Fidelity Youth app.
Upon completion of the steps above, a $10 cash reward will be deposited directly into the Referrer's Fidelity Youth Account within 7 calendar days, following the verification of the completion of the steps above. The cash reward will be initially held in the Fidelity Government Money Market Fund, the Referrer's account's core position. No further investing or trading is required for this Offer. NOTE: Due to the confidential nature of opening an account, we cannot discuss Referee's account details with you, including the account status.

This Offer is nontransferable and limited to 10 referral rewards per Referrer per 12 month period (including other referral rewards received by Referrer from Fidelity during the prior 12 months). This Offer is not valid for non-U.S. residents and members of the media who cover financial services. Individuals subject to backup withholding may not be eligible for this Offer. This Offer is only valid for the Referrer, if the Referee's account was opened after the Referrer opened their account.
Certain states and local jurisdictions have laws that limit or restrict public employees from accepting items of value from vendors such as Fidelity that provide services to public institutions. Some public entities such as governments, state universities, health care organizations, etc., also have internal policies that may contain similar restrictions. If the Referrer's parent or guardian is a public official or employee, the Referrer should first discuss with them and determine if one of these laws or internal policies applies By participating in this Offer, Fidelity assumes compliance with applicable laws and institution's internal policies.
Cumulative rewards credited to taxable accounts associated with the Referrer's social security number or tax identification number, as applicable, including those held at an affiliate of Fidelity, totaling $600 or more within a calendar year will appear on your consolidated Form 1099. The Referrer is encouraged to consult with their tax professional about appropriate tax reporting and treatment relating to this reward and the deposit of the reward in the Referrer's account. Any taxes resulting from the reward are the Referrer's responsibility.
