Edward L. Yoon

Portfolio manager and sector leader of Fidelity's global Health Care research team

Biography

Edward (Eddie) Yoon is a research analyst for Fidelity Management & Research Company (FMRCo.), the investment advisor for Fidelity’s family of mutual funds. Mr. Yoon currently manages Select Health Care Portfolio, Fidelity Advisor Health Care Fund, VIP Health Care Portfolio, Fidelity Health Care Central Fund, and Select Medical Equipment and Systems Portfolio. He also co-manages Fidelity Stock Selector All Cap Fund, Fidelity Advisor Stock Selector All Cap Fund, and Fidelity Series Broad Market Opportunities Fund. He also covers the medical technology sector and was named co-leader of the Health Care team in 2008.

Prior to joining Fidelity in July 2006, Mr. Yoon was an analyst for J.P. Morgan Asset Management from 2002 until 2006, also working as co-fund manager for the firm starting in 2005.

Mr. Yoon began managing Fidelity Select Medical Equipment and Systems Portfolio in May 2007. He has co-managed Fidelity Select Health Care Fund, Fidelity Advisor Health Care Fund, VIP Health Care Portfolio, and Fidelity Health Care Central Fund since October 2008. He began co-managing Fidelity Stock Selector and Fidelity Series Broad Market Opportunities Fund in November 2009.

Born in 1980, Mr. Yoon received a BA in business economics from Brown University in 2002.
