Rated 5 out of 5 by Reliable and beneficial I love this card! I use it for everything I purchase......I rarely pay cash for anything. As a result I am building a nice cushion in the Fidelity Rewards American Express account. I cancelled my other American Express card because it had an annual fee and I found this card to be much more of an asset. January 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Card To Use I have been using this as my primary card for over 2 years now. I even have my utilites linked to it and have had great customer sevice. They sent me a new card automatically when it was used prior to the Home Depot hack. The auto deposit of the monthly rewards into Fidelity is nice since others make you do it manually in order to receive them. This gives you a tax free 2% discount on anything you buy - even Starbucks! December 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it Great card, use it for 95% of my expenses. Also I like the integration to my Fidelity accounts for statements, transactions and paying bills. December 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Card I use this card for everything. Where else are you going to get a full 2% back on EVERYTHING without jumping through hoops like other card companies make you do? I like CASH BACK. Rewards can be sent automatically to my brokerage account. The only downside is that about 10% of merchants won't accept AmEx cards so you will need a back up card like MC or Visa, but you should always carry a back up card or two anyway. November 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Card I can't find a card to beat this one. It is also linked to your account to make rewards available easily. 2% cash back with no annual fee. We get hundreds back per year on our "green card". Go Fidelity August 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The very best card for me. This is THE credit card for those of us who want the best rebates with no hassle. This has been my "go to" card for almost two years now and I recommend it without equivocation. No quarterly categories, no requesting rebates, no limits, no fees, no problems. The fact that it is AMEX rather than VISA or M/C has not been a problem. Only once in two years have I tried to use it in a store that did not take AMEX. A 99 cent store, of all places. If you're considering a new card, go for this one. March 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simple Cash Back This card is a simple way to earn cash back without having to keep track of gimmicks. Every purchase gets 2% back deposited directly into your Fidelity account. It's that simple. There's no need to keep track of what points are worth or whether it's better to buy gas or groceries this month. March 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best credit card program out there. Airline reward cards can be a hassle with their restrictions and odd exchange rates for points. A straight forward 2% cash savings on ALL charges is a good deal. Surprisingly, even some low mark-up box stores take it exclusively. December 29, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by iPhone mobile app and ApplePay Fidelity and American Express. Hard to believe that with those two names behind the card there STILL is no mobile app for IPhone and it doesn't work on ApplePay. Having to rely on the FIA web site for complete account information is a pain. Come on Fidelity! Otherwise great card for cash rewards. June 30, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty Good Card Two Issues with this card: 1) You need to spend $5,000 before any earnings can be transferred to your Fid account and 2) You need to log into a separate FIA web site to see/monitor details about this card - you only get a summary at the Fid web site - this is a bit of a pain. June 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Primary Card I use this card at all places that accept this card. Two percent cash back on all purchases is a no brainer. Like some reviewers have stated there are places that won't take an Amex card so you have to have a backup card. This card ranks at the top in the cash back category. June 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mixed Results The card works fine, but the backroom is a mess. Have had problems virtually every month with FIA Card Services. Do not put this on AutoPay! They withdrew the wrong balance and overdrew my checking account. It took three calls to get the problem resolved and the AutopPay cancelled. Otherwise it is a good credit card which saves us a bunch of money. Many places don't take AmEx however. June 24, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Poor Service Holds are continuously placed on my account for suspicious activity when, in fact, the activity is normal. This situation is both irritating and embarrassing; especially when a charge is rejected at the grocery check-out line. I have a relatively high limit on the card and pay the balance each month. Even so, I am the one who must verify charges as mundane as groceries in order to have use of the card. Each time that I have been compelled to call FIA to reinstate the card, I have told them about the constant annoyance. I am doing their job. As the customer, I am subject to public embarrassment because of FIA’s incompetence. This is absolutely the worst credit card that I have ever had and I find it incredible that respected companies like Fidelity and American Express allow their names to be associated with such an inferior product. I am sure that I am only one of thousands of customers that this continues to happen to. It makes me wonder if my loyalty to both Fidelity and American Express over the years has been misplaced. June 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wish for more robust mobile access Wish the card offered an mobile app for iOS. My previous card had a great app to review transactions, get instant notifications of transactions (great fraud protection), and make payments. June 20, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by FIA CARD SERVICES AMEX The AMEX card is great. We've used it for many years. Unfortunately the card is administered by FIA CARD SERVICES. It is near impossible to pay your credit card statement balance with a stored routing number/ bank account number. You must mail your checks to FIA or call in a phone transaction. For years I paid the statement balance with an online payment from a bank account. I changed banks and I'm no longer able to pay online without first confirming the new bank account, however the FIA website locks the account when an attempt is made to confirm the account. I spent a large part of two days trying to resolve this with FIA customer support folks and I concluded that I was unwilling to spend any more hours or days trying different workarounds to attempt to solve the website problems. Nice people at FIA, but a horrible web design and unfortunately not possible to continue doing business with FIA. June 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Fidelity 529 Card and I, A Love Story. This card makes saving for the future so easy to do, with deposits into my daughter's 529 college plan! This is the only card I own with meaningful rewards! June 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value I love the simplicity of getting 2% cashback across the board on all purchases. Overall customer service at FIA isn't horrible but certainly could improve especially around the fraud alerting system. June 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Low Interest Rate & Great Rewards Program I've had this card for a few months now and despite all the negative reviews on here I believe it to be a sufficient card. Nothing majorly fancy about it, but I have had zero problems with it nor have I had to contact their customer service relating to any concerns. Pros: low interest rate, earning 2 points for every dollar spent, able to link up to your Fidelity account Cons: Zero so far...accept that maybe it's AMEX and that some places do not accept it? It's a simple credit card with nothing fancy about it, if you want a card to help earn you a little extra cash for your IRA or other accounts then this card is for you. My main use for the card is just that, to get points which I can turn into cash deposited into my IRA. Just wish the minimum trade in was lower. 5,000 points = $50 in the account you link it to. June 16, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great rewards, terrible purchase tracking interface The good: I get 2% on any and all purchases, and the rewards are deposited directly into my child's 529 plan. The bad: I was expecting the same level of options and quality of interface as my other 'American Express' cards, so to say that I was disappointed would be putting it mildly. I was used to being able to filter, search, analyze, download, graph, etc. at the click of the mouse. No more. It's virtually impossible and extremely tedious to get to the same level of analytics with this card. So, I've transferred essentially all of my purchases to this card for the rewards, and have had to re-vamp the way I keep track of purchases, highlight trends and areas to watch out for, etc. June 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great card! This card is great for everyday use, providing 2% back on all purchases. Despite what others have said, I've only had positive experiences with FIA Card Services. June 15, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by FIA Card Services is the Worst!!! I have been a Fidelity member for nearly 30 years. While I like the concept of the FIdelity rewards credit card, the card service company (FIA Card Services) has the WORST customer service of any credit card company. The routinely cut off the card and don't make any effort to contact the user. They constantly replace the cards with new cards and account numbers which is very inconvenient. I am going to look to move my accounts to another Brokerage company that cares about customer service. June 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cashback I was under the impression I would be earning 2% cash back deposited into a Fidelity account, but it appears that is not the case and it is actually only 1%. Since I have other cards that earn 1.5% cashback, I have discontinued using the Fidelity card. June 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great card! This is a great card. 2% on any purchase and I can use it toward my retirement. June 13, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Abysmal customer service Never once received a statement, neither message, email nor snail mail. Money paid from the fidelity web site never received by FIA card services. A phone call to FIA to resolve the situation resulted in three transfers. The first two transfers required me to authenticate each time before they could not handle the problem. The last transfer was to fidelity to resolve an unwarranted late fee. The transfer was to fidelity's main call receiving number which invited me to open a fidelity account! I had to hang up and call a fidelity rep directly. Shorter review: not worth it. Card cancelled. June 12, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too many charges declined Very frustrating and embarrassing to have small charges declined "for suspicious activity" at Kroger or Walgreens where I regularly shop. Calling customer service takes entirely too long "on hold" before you can speak to someone. June 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fidelity Rewards American Express® Cards I like that the card is accepted at many locations. I hate that the card will stop being accepted at Costco next year. I most likely will still keep the card, but this will weigh on my decision to keep using it. June 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My go to card This card is always in my wallet. Only down side, is that some businesses do not accept American Express. June 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Two percent back on everything I have single card that pays more cash back against all categories. June 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great card, great value, great cash back I'm completely happy with my Fidelity Rewards AMEX card. Can use it pretty much everywhere. It has replaced cash for even my routine daily/weekly transactions, and the cash automatically rolls back into my account. Great! June 8, 2015
