What is Active Trader Pro®?
Active Trader Pro is Fidelity's customizable trading platform for your desktop, optimized for today's technology.
How do I access Active Trader Pro®?
The application can be downloaded from www.fidelity.com/atp and accessed directly thereafter from the desktop icon.
Mac® users can access the Active Trader Pro icon in the Launchpad. For easy access, consider dragging the icon into your dock.
How do I log in?
Active Trader Pro® allows you to simply use your Fidelity.com login credentials.
How will greater system resources (capacity) provide for a better experience?
Greater system requirements allow for more tools to be in use without sacrificing performance. Depending on your system's available capacity, running other applications while using Active Trader Pro® may impact performance.
To run Active Trader Pro® on my Mac, do I need to download anything besides the installer?
No, the installer will include CrossOver, Microsoft.NET, and the Active Trader Pro® software. CrossOver is a version of Wine that is required to run Windows applications on the Mac.
How long will the download take?
The initial download and installation is a one-time process that generally takes about five minutes, depending on your Internet connection and system specifications.
What are the recommended system requirements to run Active Trader Pro®?

How do I upgrade my version of Active Trader Pro®?
The upgrade process should be seamless, meaning that future versions of Active Trader Pro will automatically be downloaded and installed when available.
I use Parallels to run Active Trader Pro® on my Mac. What's the difference with this new version?
This version of Active Trader Pro for the Mac does not require a Windows operating system. This solution leverages CrossOver, a compatibility layer software, which allows applications designed for Windows to run on other operating systems.
If you are currently using Parallels to run multiple Windows applications, including Active Trader Pro, you can continue to do so.
If you are using Parallels solely to run Active Trader Pro, you can take advantage of this version; it doesn't require a Windows license (like Parallels does) and doesn't incur the performance penalties associated with running a Virtual Machine and the full Windows OS on the Virtual Machine.
Can I download Active Trader Pro® on my iPad® or iPhone®?
No, the application is not available for the iPad® or iPhone® at this time.
Can I use Active Trader Pro® on both the Mac® and PC?
Yes, the application will be the same across computers. For example, if you update your layout on the Mac®, save it, and then log in to your PC later in the day, you will see the updated layout.
Can I use more than one monitor with Active Trader Pro® on my Mac®?
Yes, you have the ability to float windows in Active Trader Pro, which allows you to position the windows across multiple monitors to maximize your workspace.
Can I export my Watch List and Positions Data on the Mac®?
Yes, .CSV files are supported during the export process. These files are compatible with the Numbers application, which exists on most Macs®. You also have the ability to export to Microsoft Excel, but you will need that program already installed on your Mac® in order to open the file.
