simplicity and high cash back rewards. one bonus is the "shopsafe"
program. you can generate a new card number for online purchases, tied to your regular card. but unlike other "online card" generators that i tried, this one also lets you set a max charge limit as well! so for places that "require" a credit card on file (e.g. google play and xbox live come to mind), you can give them a live card and set the limit to $1 (you can always then use an alternate card/number for "real" purchases at those sites). the only minor issue that i had was when their website went down -- impossible to get any real information over the phone for things like when their site would be back up

I have had the Visa signature card for 2 years now and charge all our expenses to it. We get back about $500-700 per year.
I like the fact that we dont have to keep track of any promotions. I have never had any problems with the card being declined for big purchases and recently when I was 2 days late for a payment they also waived the late fee

I have used this card nearly exclusively since 2009. I use it for all purchases and have monthly bills such as gas, electric, etc. automatically charge to it. I only have to make one payment per month to take care of most expenses, and I earn over $500 per year in cash rewards to my brokerage account. No hoops to jump through.

1.5% cash back on first $15K/year, then 2% -- automatically credited to your brokerage account on a monthly basis if reward due is $50+. Does what it says is does -- no problems, no hassles.

I've used many (too many, perhaps) cards over the years, seeking the best combination of value and service. The Investment Rewards card is the best card available. To qualify for the card, I had to open a Fidelity account in order to link it with my rebate. I have been very happy with every contact I've had with Fidelity Brokerage and am glad to be a Fidelity client.

I like this card bc it is accepted everywhere and is the best cash back card of them all, assuming u have a Fidelity account. I don't have to spend the rewards on travel or whatever; I get cash to invest or spend as I wish. I linked it to my Fidelity money market account which has bill pay. I spend a lot with it so I get lots of cash rewards. There are no games, just a very simple cash back algorithm. Highly recommended!

The Fidelity Credit card has the best rewards program of any cards I've seen. There are no gimmicks (like "this month get up to 5% off certain items") nor low limits. It simply pays cash into your Fidelity account at set rates.

I have had the Fidelity Visa card for about one year. It was very easy to obtain and easy to use as well as accepted everywhere. I have had other credit cards with other banks but none compare to the ease of use and payment of charges like the Fidelity Visa. In fact I have talked three of my co-workers in to applying and obtaiing the Fidelity Visa. The rewards just keep adding up as I use my card for purchases for travel and daily activities. I really have not had a better credit card in the 30 plus years I have used credit cards.

FIA Card Services does not provide for account alerts. This is unacceptable in this day and age. In addition, even from my fidelity account payments can take up to five days to post.

I have had my current VISA Signature card for 4 years and a prior one for 5 years. The first one was cancelled and replaced when FIA Cardservices detected illegal activity. They notified me of the problem, cancelled my card and issued a new one. Makes you feel secure. I use the card for everything I can except gas because I get a greater reward on another card. The rewards automatically go to my Fidelity account. I get about $1000 a year back.

I love the 2% cash back, however, I had a couple of problems with the card. I track my everyday purchases with Quicken. This card does not allow automatic download into quicken as part of the one step update, so that was a problem.
I remember all of my transactions for a week, but it is difficult for me to remember them for 5 weeks, so it was very difficult for me to reconcile and categorize my purchases.
Also the secure nature of the website prevented my password manager from working properly. I had to keep the password set to something relatively simple and easy to guess so that I could remember it. Because of this, I never really felt good about the security of my account.
I stopped using the card and allowed it to be cancelled. I would love to go back to it, if they could get the above problems fixed.

I appreciate not having to worry about whether the card will be accepted or not. When I use the card out of town, it is not suspended automatically as with other cards. I prefer not to pay an annual fee and this card doesn't have one. Finally, the rewards program is pretty competitive, especially if the points are redeemed into a Fidelity Cash Management Account.

This is a very poorly run Visa card. Despite paying balance in full every month for the last year, I have had several instances in the last 30 days where Internet and point of sale purchases were denied for unexplained fraud reasons. Calling the 800 number is very taxing, with numerous confidential questions being repeatedly asked by people with poor English. This card is an embarrassment to Fidelity.,

Just one BIG problem. I signed up for paperless statements with email notification and there is no email notification. Thus I missed a payment. Every other account I have provides email notification. I was told that service is not yet available. Then don't advertise that it is.

As of 10/21/14 no suppport for Apply Pay. Not sure if this is a FIA card services issue or a Fidelity issue. Not a hughe issue but kind of inconvenient to use my backup card for all Apple Pay transactions.

The credit card seems fine, and I appreciate the fact that the reward system is stable, no bouncing "specials" every month to keep track of. However, I ended up getting a late payment fee tacked to my card accounts because the automatic payments I scheduled on the website apparently didn't go through the first time I scheduled them. So payments on two card accounts were late and I got hit with both interest and late fees. Not happy about that to be honest. You need to make sure the website entries actually go through, and go through quickly.

Decent reward cash back. I use the card for recurring bills like utilities, insurance, etc. Like getting a 1.5 % discount. However, I suggest requesting an auto payment option through your Fidelity account. For now, you have to call FIAA card services, have them mail you the form and mail it back. Missing a timely payment could erode all benefits, even cost you in fees

My wife and I switched to this card about a year ago and, overll, are pretty pleased with it. We use our cards a great deal as we find that it makes tracking where our spending goes much easier than cash. That caused some problems at first; they "froze" our card a couple of times being a bit over-zealous with their security, but, hey, I'll take that over the alternative! Have also had some recent issues with tracking activity on Full View, but that seem to finally be resolved. One thing I do question, and it is not exclusive to this card by any means, is the foreign transaction fees. We went to Bonaire recently, where the US dollar is the currency, but still got charged the fee. Look, if you had to convert currency, I could understand the fee. So if I go to the US Vrgin islands I get that fee? When I called customer service to try to get an explanation, I got none...just a "that's just the way it is" answer.

This card has a great rewards program and customer service is wonderful. The only issue is the foreign transaction fee. I am not able to use this card on my international trips as this fee is not acceptable. If this was changed, this card would receive 5 stars.

Love our Fidelity Investment Rewards Visa Sig card! The only caveat is there is no mobile app. Please get a mobile app to improve ease with making payments and access to rewards/benefits.

If you use full view don't get this card because it will not work with fullview. It worked great until they did some changes to the bank interface a month ago.
They say they are working on it but after a month I think they don't know what they are doing.

3 times in the past year FIA Card Services has called me about unusual transactions on my account, and each time we confirmed a hacker had guessed my card number and by-passed their security - with the card still in my possession and not based on any online purchases I'd made. In each case there were hundreds of dollars of fraudulant transactions over many purchases. I haven't had to pay for them, but each time has involved multiple long calls with FIA's fraud department, turning off my card, issuing a new card, needing to change all my autopay items linked to the card to the new card number, and listening to them tell me I should report it to my police department despite the issue being THEIR inadequate security systems. Had to wait 24 minutes on hold to make the last call. Their web site does not even have adequate info such as international transaction fees and travel liability benefits. Very basic website, far inferior to major credit card issuers, particularly in timeliness of posting transactions.
Security and customer service are far below average and just not consistent with Fidelity's high level of services and standards. I feel bad that I have recommended this card in the past.
