  • What Fidelity accounts can be linked to my Fidelity Crypto® account?

When opening your Fidelity Crypto® account, you can choose to open a new Fidelity brokerage account with an individual or joint registration (with 2 individual owners) or to select an eligible existing brokerage account to link as your funding account. Joint accounts can’t include trusts, entities, or tenant-by-entirety registrations, and all owners of the Fidelity Crypto® account must be owners of the funding account.

For large deposits, a portion might be subject to a hold before it can be moved. Check the "Available for Fidelity Crypto®" balance when you're moving money.

If your funding account is flagged for pattern day trading, this could reduce your cash available to transfer into your Fidelity Crypto® account. There are no day trading limits on cryptocurrencies.
