Real-Time Analytics uses historical trends to help you spot potential opportunities to make more informed buy and sell decisions.

Real-time Analytics uses historical trends to help you spot potential opportunities to make more informed buy and sell decisions.

Real-time Analytics is accessible from either the main navigation menu under Alerts or through the new circular Signal icon located in the bottom right hand corner of ATP next to the flag icon.

The Signal icon in the bottom right hand corner of ATP will turn blue when a signal alert has been received, indicating that a potential opportunity may be available.

Important: The icon will only turn blue if you have either the Real-time Analytics tool open or you have added the Signals column to your Positions or Watch List, and have those windows open.

First time users of Real-time Analytics will be greeted with a simple setup process to choose your subscriptions by security and signal alert type. Users have the choice to subscribe to receive alerts on Positions, Watch Lists or pre-built Indices such as the S&P500, S&P100 or Nasdaq 100.

Alerts show up in the tool in real time as they are generated. Alerts can be generated for any security that is a member of the Russell 3000 Index.

Clicking on the blue icon will open the Real-time Analytics tool. Clicking on any signal alert in the tool will display additional details including charts or descriptions explaining the potential opportunity. Use the action menu next to each signal to quickly open a chart, set an alert, or place a trade on that security.

Hover over the signals to reveal quick links to Quote, Chart, and Trade. Clicking on the quick link buttons will seed the underlying symbol into the quote tool or default trade ticket or it will launch a chart that is specific to the type of signal that you are viewing. For example: Clicking on the Chart button for an RSI Signal will launch a 3 Month / Daily chart with the RSI already plotted. Or you can continue to use the action menu or right click to quickly open your default chart, set an alert, or place a trade on that security.

Quick Tip: You can also view your Real-time Analytics alerts using the Signals column in your Positions and Watch Lists. The Signals column in Positions and Watch Lists will display a separate icon for each signal type that has triggered an alert on a security. It is possible to have more than one type of signal alert on a security during the same time period. Hovering over an icon in the Signals column will pop up a window with additional details on the signal.
