About Fidelity

Making a Difference

We are committed to investing in the communities we serve—through education, environmental sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and more.

Corporate Citizenship

Our commitment to the community is at the core of everything we do.
We make a difference by investing in where we live and work.

We help students achieve academic success in an environment that inspires them to thrive, ranging from apprenticeship programs, to transforming learning environments.

Apprenticeship Programs

We teach kids the "Secrets of a Millionaire" by partnering with Citizen Schools to enhance the educational experience of students through an experiential, hands-on approach.

Revitalizing Schools

Thousands of our employees help to revitalize schools across the country, giving students the learning environments needed to help them thrive.

Tutoring Programs

Through tutoring programs across our regions, our employee volunteers use their insights and experience to help provide students in need with an educational foundation.

Financial Education

Only 27% of young adults understand basic financial concepts. We provide financial literacy support to K-12 students and teachers so they can make better personal finance and investing decisions to meet their unique life event goals.

Volunteering inside an NH classroom

Bringing Financial Literacy concepts to students through in-classroom discussion.

Teach the Teacher Program

Delivering Financial Literacy content to teachers through our “Teach the Teachers” program enables them to bring this curriculum back to their classrooms and increase financial literacy among their students.

Financial Literacy Gamification

We engage students and teachers in financial literacy concepts through experiential learning opportunities and the use of innovative games to help them better retain key concepts. Try Fidelity's game on the Kahoot! game-based learning platform.

Skills-based Volunteerism

Skills-based volunteering enables associates to support their community, from short term, "flash consulting" events to longer term consulting engagements.

Impact Week

Through our Impact Week program, our volunteers provided over 80 nonprofits with consulting on their greatest technical and business challenges.

Short-term Consulting Projects

Over a multi-week engagement, Fidelity volunteers worked with National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) to develop their website.

Long-term Skills-Based programs

Throughout the course of several months, Fidelity volunteers partnered with the CityLink Center to help them evaluate career pathways for individuals and families seeking to break free from poverty.

We foster innovation to achieve positive environmental change, while empowering customers, associates, and communities to reduce our global footprint.

Our program initially focused on resource consumption reduction, rapidly evolving to a more holistic approach on material issues. We continue to expand our reach through strategic partnerships, scaling successful initiatives across our worksites, and integrating environmental sustainability across our business strategy, products and services.

Performance and Goals

We began tracking reductions in our environmental impact in 2007 and continue to make significant progress towards our goals.

Strategy and Focus Areas

Our strategic long-term planning provides a roadmap to future global targets, enabling us to create meaningful impact through our sustainability efforts.

Green Buildings

We value resource-efficient workplaces and actively seek independent validation of our efforts through entities like the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) and the Green Building Initiative’s Green Globes® certification programs.

Virtual Sustainability Tours

From buildings and roofs to electric vehicle charging stations and more, learn about the green features across our campuses.

Responsible Environmental Management

diversity and inclusion

We know that a diverse and inclusive workforce is the key to creating a relevant and differentiated customer experience. Building a connected and collaborative workforce that reflects the broader society will help us help our customers.

Thriving In and Out of Work

We listen to our employees and build our workplace around their needs. Our benefits are designed to support the total lives of our employees—helping them thrive in and out of work.

Dynamic Career Opportunities

There are hundreds of different ways to build a career at Fidelity. Whether you are in artificial intelligence, customer service, financial planning, human resources, investment management, marketing, communications, or technology, you can build a diverse portfolio of skills and experience with us.

Community Engagement

We make a difference in the lives of school-age children, teachers, and our communities by sharing our expertise and resources to deliver meaningful programming and activities.

Diversity, A Foundation to Success

Diversity and Inclusion is a foundation for success. It's a process, not programs. Layered in, not layered on top. Everyone’s responsibility, at all layers of the organization.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

At Fidelity, we recognize the value that employees' individual differences can contribute to the success and future of our company. Our ERGs and SIGs self-organize around common interests or similar experiences.

Simple Starts to Help Drive Diversity and Inclusion

We are focused on integrating "Simple Starts" into our business processes and operations, which are small and immediate behavior changes that create real and tangible impact in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.  Watch a short video here.

Fidelity is dedicated to improving the customer experience for people of all abilities. This includes websites, email communications, online applications document, and live customer interactions over the phone or through face-to-face meetings.

Our commitment to supplier diversity means proactively procuring goods and services from businesses that reflect and value the diversity of our customers.

Corporate Sponsorship

Fidelity partners with organizations that do good work locally and nationally, support shared corporate and community goals, and provide opportunities to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

If you are seeking a corporate sponsorship on behalf of an organization or event, we welcome you to submit a formal sponsorship request.
