FMRCo taps a dedicated personal bond management team in Fidelity's fixed income division to actively construct and manage the Strategies. The team benefits from Fidelity’s rich history of managing fixed income investments for over 45 years. Using proprietary research, models and tools, FMRCo can analyze thousands of securities across the investment-grade bond universe to uncover hidden opportunities in different types of markets. This capability allows FMRCo to build diversified bond strategies that include a range of issuers, regions, sectors, and maturities as they seek to generate income while managing risk.

Eric Golden is the portfolio manager of Fidelity Core Bond Strategy and Fidelity Intermediate Municipal Strategy and oversees the adherence of each strategy to its investment mandate and objective. As the managing director and portfolio manager of personal bond management in Fidelity's fixed income division, Eric Golden is responsible for the portfolio construction, management, and risk oversight of fixed income separately managed retail accounts as well as a series of institutional strategies.
Since joining Fidelity in 2004, Mr. Golden has held various other roles within the fixed income division, including research analyst, associate research analyst, and research associate. In these positions, he was responsible for covering not-for-profit hospitals, senior living, utilities, transportation, and tobacco credits for bond and money market funds. Mr. Golden earned his Bachelor of Science degree in corporate finance and accounting, with a minor in information technology, from Bentley University. He is a CFA® Charterholder.
