Matt is also a member of the Executive Committee. In his role, Matt oversees the management of the firm's tax-efficient bond portfolios. Matt joined Breckinridge in 2002 as a trader and transitioned to portfolio management in 2008. He has over 27 years of industry experience. Prior to Breckinridge, Matt was a tax-exempt trader at Mellon Private Asset Management. Before Mellon, Matt was a portfolio manager at David L. Babson & Co. for both taxable and tax-exempt money market portfolios. Matt holds a B.A. in economics from Bryant College.
Sara is a senior portfolio manager at Breckinridge. She is a member of the firm's Investment Committee where she is jointly responsible for setting the firm's investment outlook and the translation into portfolio strategy. In her role, Sara is responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of client portfolios. Sara joined Breckinridge in 2010 as a trader and transitioned to portfolio management in 2013. She has over 21 years of industry experience. Prior to Breckinridge, Sara was a vice president and trader at Eaton Vance Management where she traded various specialty state mutual funds. In addition, she oversaw trading and operations for Eaton Vance's separately managed accounts, focusing on systems automation projects. Before Eaton Vance, Sara was responsible for municipal bond trading at Fidelity Investments. Sara began her career at State Street Bank & Trust Co. She holds a B.S. in business administration from Providence College and an MBA from the Boston University School of Management.
Ji Young is a senior portfolio manager at Breckinridge and head of Breckinridge's San Diego office. She is a member of the firm's Risk Committee. In her role, Ji Young is responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of client portfolios and bridges the Boston and San Diego offices to maintain seamless communication between coasts. Ji Young joined Breckinridge in 2010 as a research analyst and transitioned to portfolio management in 2012. She has over 15 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Ji Young was a credit analyst in the Public Finance Group at Assured Guaranty Ltd. where she evaluated various tax-backed and revenue-supported debt obligations. She began her career at Financial Security Assurance where she analyzed municipal and corporate bonds. Ji Young is a member of the California Society of Municipal Analysts and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts. Ji Young holds a B.A. in political science from Yale University and is a CFA® charterholder.
Eric is a senior portfolio manager at Breckinridge. In his role, Eric is responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of client portfolios. Eric joined the firm in January 2016 and has over 16 years of investment industry experience. Prior to Breckinridge, Eric was a portfolio manager for SCS Financial, where he focused on managing tax-exempt separate accounts as well as conducting manager research across fixed income sectors. He holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a CFA® charterholder.
Allyson is a portfolio manager at Breckinridge. In her role, Allyson is responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of client portfolios. Allyson has been with the firm since 2018 and has over 12 years of industry experience. Prior to Breckinridge, she was a portfolio manager at Columbia Threadneedle Investments where she managed institutional and SMA accounts. Before that, she was an associate portfolio manager at BNY Mellon. Allyson holds a B.S.B.A. from Suffolk University, as well as an MBA and an MSF from Northeastern University.
