Test your current connection speed

This test will estimate the speed of your Internet connection. It will measure the amount of time it takes to transfer a file from PSW to your computer. The results will be displayed on your screen when the test is complete.

Now that you have made some adjustments to your browser, it is time to measure your connection login time to Plan Sponsor WebStation.

Open PSW in another window.
Measure from the time you click Continue on the login page until all text and images are loaded.
Compare your time to the table listed below.

Connection	Connection Speed	Reasonable PSW Login Time
56K Modem	35-40kbps	1 minute
ISDN	50-80 kbps	45 seconds to 1 minute
DSL	80-200 kbps	35-45 seconds
T1	200 kbps-1.5mbps	Less than 35 seconds
