What Makes Us Different

Everyone is different. But not every consulting business is. At Fidelity, we offer a unique opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a typical consulting position along with an atmosphere and work environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and truly supportive of a work-life balance. We recently interviewed some of our people and asked them to identify what makes Fidelity Consulting such a special place to work. Here’s what we heard:

Winning the Interview

At Fidelity, our case interview is your opportunity to show us how you think and, most importantly, who you are. Still, we realize this process can be a little intimidating. That’s why we want to let you know what you can expect and give you some tips to help you ace the case.

What exactly is a case?

A case is nothing more than a hypothetical challenge facing a hypothetical business. The case will include background information about the business and additional information you can use to inform your response.

To get a better idea of how it works, watch our sample case interview video. This video will help you get a better understanding of the case interview process, here are a few highlights:

  1. Make sure you understand exactly what the case is about and what you’re being asked to solve.
  2. Ask questions. It shows us how you think.
  3. Take your time. There’s no rush.
  4. Be sure to follow a structure.
  5. There’s no right answer, so try to think outside the box.
  6. Be prepared to do some math in your head.
