Douglas Beck, CFA®
Senior Vice President, Investment Product Group – Fixed Income, Fidelity Investments

Doug Beck leads the Investment Product group's fixed income team that is responsible for executing product strategy, development, management, and advocacy across the fixed income capabilities based in Merrimack, N.H. This represents almost $900B in assets under management, more than 100 commingled products, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), collective investment trusts, and institutional separate accounts.

Prior to joining Fidelity in 2013, Doug was head of product management and president of Deutsche Bank's U.S.-based mutual funds. He also served as head of product management and president of the UBS Funds (U.S.), held a senior position within the managed accounts division of Merrill Lynch, and started his career in financial services with Raymond James in 1990 as a closed-end research analyst and later as a portfolio manager.

Doug earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder.


Roy Benjamin
Vice President & Actuary, Fidelity Investments

Roy Benjamin is vice president and actuary of Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company (FILI), a unit of Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.

Mr. Benjamin joined Fidelity Investments in 2005 as a member of the product development team. He has helped broaden the range of income annuity products available to Fidelity customers, as well as expanding their positioning within the planning and guidance tools.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Benjamin was an actuary at Sun Life Financial, where he held a variety of product development roles in the retail annuity and institutional pension divisions.

Mr. Benjamin received a bachelor of science degree in applied mathematics from Brown University and is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.


Timothy Paradis, CFP®
Regional Planning Consultant, Fidelity Investments

Timothy Paradis is a vice president in the Planning and Guidance group for Fidelity Personal Investing, a unit of Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals and institutions, as well as through 5,000 financial intermediary firms. Mr. Paradis is currently a regional planning consultant for the New England region.

Mr. Paradis joined Fidelity in 2006 as a financial representative in Merrimack, N.H. In 2007, he joined the Private Client Group, working with high-net-worth clients in Fidelity's Investor Centers. In this role, he guided his clients through various strategies of wealth planning, but focusing primarily on retirement and investment planning. During this time, Mr. Paradis was part of many focus groups that helped to facilitate the rollout of many new Fidelity solutions and guidance tools.

Prior to becoming a vice president and regional planning consultant in 2014, Mr. Paradis was a senior wealth advisor at an independent registered investment advisor in Bedford, N.H.

Mr. Paradis received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Saint Anselm College in 2001. He also holds a Certificate of Financial Planning from Merrimack College and is a Certified Financial PlannerTM. Mr. Paradis is FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 licensed and holds his insurance license in the states in which he works.
