Active Trader Pro®: A weekly class for beginners

Nick Delisse from our Trading Strategy Desk, an experienced trading professional, will conduct a 4-week virtual classroom course with a small group of investors who would like to maximize the capability of the Active Trader Pro® platform. The class will cover key concepts and practical application of the program including: initial set-up, placing trades, charting, and option analysis. There will be homework assigned after each session to help you apply your growing knowledge.

Each class will build on the prior week's class, so please plan on registering for and attending all 4 weeks. These sessions are fully interactive, you will be able to ask questions, and we will show you the online tools to help you apply your knowledge.

Week 3: Using the Advanced Charting Capabilities

Now that you understand the basic capabilities, we are ready to look at utilizing the advanced charting capabilities in the platform. You will learn about the components of creating a technical system and how to apply these concepts to your charts.

Week 4: Trading and Analyzing Options

This week's class will focus on the various options tools available. Nick will review different ways of finding, analyzing, and trading your options strategy ideas.


Nick Delisse Nicholas D. DeLisse joined Fidelity in May 2012. He has been a part of Fidelity's Trading Strategy Desk since June 2014. He is currently a Registered Securities Representative (Series 7/63) and a Registered Options Principal (Series 4). Nicholas graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
