Please join Scott Diamond, head of the GSAM Municipal Bond Trading Desk, for a discussion on how to navigate the municipal market and where opportunities exist in a market with greater volatility, lower supply, and greater credit quality dispersion.


Scott Diamond, CFA<sup>®</sup>Scott Diamond, CFA®, is the head of the Municipal Bond Trading desk within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). His responsibilities include the trading and structuring of municipal portfolios for various clients, including separately managed accounts for high net worth individuals, mutual funds, insurance companies and other institutions. Scott joined Goldman Sachs in 2002 as a senior portfolio manager on the GSAM municipal team and was named managing director in 2013.

Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked for nine years at Prudential Financial, where he served as the portfolio manager for various national- and state-specific municipal mutual funds as well as several institutional accounts. Prior to that, he worked as a trader and credit analyst within the municipal department.

Scott earned a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University in 1989 and an MBA from Seton Hall University in 1993. He has been a CFA® charterholder since 1998.
