We will discuss security basics, trading and settlement characteristics advantages, and how to use them strategically.

Session 2: Volatility for beginners

Does volatility scare you? Is volatility bad? Our speakers will give you a better understanding of volatility and where there may be opportunity. Topics include:

  • Historic and implied volatility
  • The VIX
  • The importance of time frames and timing
3:00 p.m. – 3:50 p.m. CT

Session 3: Top three index strategies

In this session, we will cover directional trading: buying calls and puts and how to hedge your portfolio using our top three index strategies.
