FAQs: How to Deposit a Check Into Your Account
Can I deposit a check into my individual account that's made payable to both my spouse and myself?
Yes, if you've both endorsed the check, and the check is for $99,999.99 or less, it can be deposited into your individual brokerage account.
Note: If you're depositing a check that's for $100,000 or more, you'll need to provide us with a notarized letter with your spouse's signature, the account number you are depositing the check into, and the check number, check date, and check amount.
Where can I get deposit slips to send with my retirement contribution?
Retirement and other accounts don't offer preprinted deposit slips; in those cases, please use the generic Deposit Slip (PDF) form.
