Additional annuity types included in Fidelity GPSSM  (login required)
Single premium deferred annuity (SPDA) accounts are included when using Fidelity Guided Portfolio SummarySM (GPS) to obtain investment analysis information. This improvement builds upon the previous enhancement that allowed Fidelity customers to obtain Fidelity GPSSM analysis for the MetLife Growth and Guaranteed IncomeSM (MGGI) and Fidelity Growth and Guaranteed Income® (FGGI) variable annuity products.

Advanced trading features for the Fidelity iPad® app
We released new features for the Fidelity iPad® app, including a redesigned trade ticket, extended hours trading, a full-screen options chain, and charting enhancements that include five new technical indicators. The new app also features an Investor Center locator and access to Fidelity Viewpoints® articles.

Average price trade reporting
This new process takes all of the individual executions of a single order and replaces them with a single, weighted average record. This results in smaller trade confirms, statements, year-end investment reports, and tax forms. Contact your Fidelity representative for more details or to sign up.

Bond offerings display 24 hours a day
Bond offerings are now available 24 hours a day, allowing you to research and analyze potential bond investments at your convenience.

Charting with Recognia® technical analysis
The Recognia® technical analysis integration takes all of the historical patterns and events and allows them to be plotted on our charting platforms. It was recently added to the Advanced Chart on Fidelity.com and will be included in the upcoming versions of Active Trader Pro® and ActiveTraderPro.com®.

Delayed futures data on Markets & Sectors overview page
The enhanced user experience now includes around the clock market information via delayed futures data, as well as an intraday sector heat map, allowing you to quickly discern macro trends and uncover potential investing opportunities.

Enhancements to the Fidelity iPad® app
With tools from Trefis® Research, you can see in a single snapshot what drives the value in a company’s business. Watch List Visualization (powered by Fidelity Labs) allows you to see the historical performance of your watch lists using a time-based control. It also allows for comparisons of selected securities with industry standard data points such as P/E ratio, 90-day average volume, market cap, and earnings per share.

Margin trading tools
The Margin Calculator is a new tool that enables you to calculate how transactions (stocks, options, deposits/withdrawals) and value changes to the securities in your account can impact your margin balances and position-level margin requirements. This allows for better portfolio management and a clearer understanding of potential impact prior to executing your trades.

Mobile check deposit for the Fidelity iPad® app
The ability to make deposits directly to a Fidelity IRA via the Fidelity iPad® app was introduced to make it easy and efficient for you to make IRA contributions by the April tax deadline. You can now make deposits into Traditional or Roth IRAs, as well as into any nonretirement (brokerage) account. This same functionality is available on the Fidelity iPhone® and Android™ apps.

New index spread levels
Index option spreads were reduced from a level five options strategy to a level three strategy. If you have an IRA approved for spread trading, you are able to trade index spreads in your IRA as well. If you already have accounts approved for a level three options strategy or an IRA with spread agreements on file, you are automatically enabled for index spread trading. No updates to options applications are required.

Trading options on Fidelity.com (3:42)
The options ticket on Fidelity.com allows you to easily find, analyze, and enter the strategy you want to trade. This includes a single, multi-leg, or custom strategy. Watch a brief video to learn how you can leverage Fidelity's options trading functionality to enhance your investing experience.

Next generation active trading tools
The next generation Active Trader Pro® offering is a technical rewrite of our trading platforms that delivers the performance, stability, and reliability traders expect; advanced trading capabilities and decision-making tools; and an interactive, innovative user experience to help give traders an advantage. Now, if you trade 36 times a year or more, you'll also receive streaming quotes, charts, and news to keep on top of the markets.

Next generation Fidelity app for iPhone® and Android™
Our next generation iPhone® and Android™ apps feature industry-first, customizable home screens, advanced charting, price trigger and trade notification alerts, and more, to help you track your accounts from virtually anywhere.

Non-qualified stretch option for eligible annuities
We have expanded the beneficiary options for eligible annuities by offering a stretch provision that allows beneficiaries to stretch payments out over their lifetime, which could be more tax efficient for those inheriting annuities.

Open an account on the Fidelity iPad® app
Quickly and easily open accounts to help meet your retirement, investing, or savings goals in a matter of minutes.

Personal rate of return for eligible annuities (login required)
Based on your feedback, we added the ability to view your personal rate of return for your eligible annuities on Fidelity.com. You can find the personal rate of return on the Summary and Performance tabs once you log in to your account.

Redesigned Bond Ladder Tool
The Bond Ladder Tool on Fidelity.com now provides the flexibility to build your own bond ladders in a self-directed fashion or have Fidelity suggest a ladder for you, with the ability to tailor a suggested ladder to meet your goals by adding, editing, or deleting rungs. In addition, you can now refine search criteria and view estimated interest and principal all on one page.
