Employee Contributions
Depending on plan design, employee contributions could be up to 100% of compensation with a maximum of $15,500 in 2008. Employees age 50 or older can make additional catch-up contributions of $5,000 for 2008.
Employer/Employee Contributions Combined
Combined employer and employee contributions can be up to 100% of compensation, with a maximum of $46,000 for the 2008 plan year (or $51,000 if age 50 and older).
