Fidelity Institutional offers clearing, custody, investment products, brokerage and trading services to a wide range of financial intermediary firms. More than 13,500 financial advisory firms rely on Fidelity Institutional’s innovative technology and deep expertise to help more than nine million accounts. Under the umbrella of Fidelity Institutional are three distinct business units with $3.2 trillion in assets under administration (AUA).

  • Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions® provides a comprehensive clearing and custody platform, brokerage, investment and reporting services, trading capabilities and practice management and consulting to registered investment advisors, including strategic acquirers and professional asset managers, retirement recordkeepers, broker-dealer firms, banks, insurance companies, family offices and wealthy families. Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions' goal is to help clients ensure that they are always future-ready by offering knowledgeable consulting, exceptional people and transformative technology. Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions has $2.6T in AUA and services about 4,000 clients and more than seven million accounts.1
  • Fidelity Institutional Asset Management® is Fidelity's distribution and client service organization dedicated to meeting the needs of consultants and institutional investors, such as defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments, and financial advisors. It has $897 billion in assets under administration2 and more than 500 institutional and 60,000 financial advisor clients, and serves some of the largest institutional investors in the world. FIAM provides actionable strategies, enabling its clients to meet their investment mandates and is a gateway to Fidelity Investment's original insight and diverse investment capabilities across equity, fixed income, high-income, and global asset allocation.3
  • Fidelity Capital Markets is the institutional trading arm of Fidelity Investments®, providing trading products and services to a wide array of clients; including buy-side institutions, hedge funds, and Fidelity's® retail, correspondent and advisor businesses. The Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM) offering features a suite of electronic brokerage products and execution services across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, options, and forex, as well as prime brokerage and securities lending. FCM also participates in the municipal new issue market and bank issued brokered CD underwriting.4
