BOSTON — reacHIRE, a leader in providing career re-entry programs is bringing its acclaimed skills training and job placement program to Covington, KY. The reacHIRE program will provide selected candidates a deep dive into the skills, training, coaching and development necessary to successfully on-ramp back into today's workplace. reacHIRE recruits locally for potential candidates to participate in the Fidelity Resume program, a paid 6-month return-to-work internship program that supports professionals returning to the workforce after a career break.
"In the United States, there are 5.4 million jobs not getting filled while 2.6 million women with college, masters or PhD degrees are sitting on the sidelines," explains reacHIRE CEO Addie Swartz.
In order to make the transition back to work successful after a 2+ plus year break, professionals often need a boost in career planning, a skills update, confidence, and access to opportunities. reacHIRE's comprehensive cohort model helps participants navigate the journey with the support of peers and provides an on-ramp for those currently not working but would like to be."
"At Fidelity, we are redefining how we attract top talent and thinking beyond traditional recruiting strategies that will help further diversify our workforce and perspectives," said Kelly Schultz, Covington Region Co-Leader at Fidelity Investments.
"We believe that the Resume program supports and inspires our culture of collaboration and inclusion, allowing individuals to reach one’s greatest potential. We know there is a lot of experienced talent in the tri-state region who are looking for an opportunity to get back into the workforce and we hope they’ll seriously consider evaluating and applying for the Resume program."
Fidelity has been working with reacHIRE since 2013 and has seen great success with the Resume return-to-work internship programs in New England, Texas and North Carolina. The Fidelity Resume program refreshes and reactivates skills while preparing an individual for the next phase of their career. It also provides access to a more diverse workforce that delivers fresh perspectives to teams, customers and the community.
