Fidelity's® Mobile Apps Now Enable Investors to Manage Cash and Deposit Checks

Mobile Check Deposit, Fidelity BillPay® and Money Movement Now Available on Fidelity’s iPhone®, iPad® and AndroidTM Apps

BOSTON – Fidelity Investments® (http://www.fidelity.com/), a leading online brokerage firm, today announced that its clients can now pay bills, move money and deposit checks using Fidelity’s mobile brokerage apps for iPhone®, iPad®1  and AndroidTM devices.

Mobile Check Deposit, Fidelity BillPay® and Money Movement deliver capabilities that clients have been requesting to help them easily manage cash positions on the mobile devices they use everyday.

Currently, retail clients can use Fidelity MobileSM apps to access their Fidelity account information and watch lists; stay updated on domestic and world markets via up-to-the-minute third-party news; receive real-time quotes; compare the performance of multiple stocks on one screen with interactive charting capabilities; and trade stocks, options, ETFs and mutual funds via an intuitive trade ticket.

Investors working with independent registered investment advisors (RIAs) on Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services' brokerage platform also will be able to leverage this same Fidelity MobileSM functionality.

“For more than a decade, Fidelity has been a leader in mobile brokerage technologies and our powerful new apps have been a big hit with clients who want to check their account balances, get quotes, see breaking news, and make trades from wherever they happen to be,” said James C. Burton, president of Fidelity’s retail brokerage business.  "Fidelity wanted to further enable clients to leverage mobile capabilities to now manage cash, deposit money, and pay bills on the go.”

The new mobile services include:
• Mobile Check Deposit can help save time, as well as travel and/or postage expenses, by giving clients the ability to take a picture of a check with their iPhone or Android camera and immediately send it to Fidelity for deposit in a non-retirement account2.  In 2010, Fidelity customers mailed in a deposit or visited a Fidelity Investor Center to deposit a check nearly four million times3.

• Fidelity BillPay on the iPhone, iPad and Android gives clients the ability to manage and pay bills on the go from their brokerage account and mySmart Cash Account®.  Fidelity BillPay has proven to be a popular and convenient feature on Fidelity.com, with users paying on average between 5 and 6 bills each month4.

• Mobile Money Movement allows clients to easily move cash between eligible Fidelity accounts and to and from outside banks.  This can help clients take advantage of buying opportunities using the iPhone, iPad and Android apps’ trading features. In 2010, Fidelity clients performed more than 600,000 bank and Fidelity account transfers each month .

Current iPhone, iPad and Android app users will receive an alert on their devices enabling them to download the updated app.  New clients can download the iPhone and iPad app via the App Store on their device, or at www.itunes.com/appstore.  Fidelity’s Android app is available via a free download from the online Android Market, accessible from any device running Android.

Alternatively, investors can visit Fidelity’s new mobile Web page at www.fidelity.com/mobile to scan a “quick response” (QR) code with their mobile device, which will automatically download the appropriate updated app.  Investors can learn more about Fidelity’s broad mobile offerings on the Web page, or by speaking with a customer service representative at 1-800-FIDELITY.
