Fidelity® Launches Ratings and Reviews Capability on Fidelity.Com
Investors Can Now Post Feedback; New Capability Will Help Fidelity Further Refine Offerings, Hone Future InnovationBOSTON, April 2, 2012 – Fidelity Investments® today announced it has expanded the way customers can engage with the firm by introducing a new ratings and reviews capability on Fidelity.com. The new feature enables customers to post feedback on brokerage products and services they use, helping Fidelity continuously refine its offerings and hone its future innovation.
Visitors to Fidelity.com can now see others’ perspectives about Fidelity offerings, based on a one to five star scale across categories such as convenience, value and features, as well as an overall rating. They can also read detailed review commentary, similar to what they can do on the sites of online retailers, and sort those reviews by reviewer profile, including age, gender, investing style and how long the reviewer has used the product.
Initially, the ability to post ratings and reviews will be available for certain brokerage, cash management and retirement productsi, and over time Fidelity plans to expand the program to additional products.
“Introducing the ability to post evaluations will help customers share their perspectives and experiences with Fidelity products and services and help investors make even more informed decisions as they pursue their financial goals,” said Richard Blunck, executive vice president, digital distribution at Fidelity. “Gathering investor reviews also adds another communication channel to our customer feedback programii, which we use to listen to our customers, refine our offerings and make a relationship with Fidelity the best customer experience in the industry.”
The new ratings and reviews capability joins Fidelity’s existing customer feedback channels, which include phone, online chat, e-mail, branch, mobile app ratings, Facebook and Twitter.
