The dedicated Advisor Service Team provides advisors with a single point of contact for all questions related to their clients’ Giving Accounts. As an added service enhancement, Fidelity Charitable is also offering advisors firm-wide access to clients’ Giving Accounts, allowing advisory firms to provide more seamless service to their clients. “Fidelity Charitable is focused on making it easy for advisors to help donors achieve their charitable goals,” said Sarah Libbey, president of Fidelity Charitable. “By providing advisors with the best technology and a dedicated service team that specializes in meeting their needs, we can help them add greater value to the charitable conversation with donors.” Other key innovations offered by GivingCentral include both individual and aggregate Giving Account views, exportable reporting of client Giving Account® balances, grant history, investments and charitable contributions –- all of which allow advisors to more easily manage client Giving Accounts. Integration with Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services In addition to the technology and service enhancements, GivingCentral will provide an integrated online experience for registered investment advisors (RIAs) who work with Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services. Beginning in mid-December, advisors will have the ease of a single sign-on feature from WealthCentral®, Fidelity’s industry-leading technology platform for RIAs, allowing them to manage their clients’ brokerage accounts and Giving Accounts in one place. “Charitable giving is best maximized when integrated with a donor’s overall financial plans,” said Mike Durbin, president of Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services. “The connection between WealthCentral and GivingCentral provides a powerful tool for our advisor clients, making it easier for them to manage investor accounts and to offer strategic recommendations around charitable giving.” Continued Focus on Advisor Market The technology and service improvements come as a part of Fidelity Charitable’s continued and increasing focus on the intermediary market. In the past twelve months, Fidelity Charitable has introduced several other enhancements for advisors including a five-city educational tour on donating privately held, illiquid (or complex) assets and the launch of a dedicated team to assist advisors and donors with these types of donations.
